No procrastinar. No dejar pasar el tiempo.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>Hace tres meses una amiga me hizo un ultrasonido, la Dra. Marcela, en Ciudad Arce, y me encontr\u00f3 h\u00edgado graso. En ese momento comenc\u00e9 un proceso de reducir algunas cosas que ven\u00eda haciendo y que no eran saludables. Recuerdo que al mediod\u00eda f\u00e1cilmente pod\u00eda tomarme una soda acompa\u00f1ando la comida: Eso lo dej\u00e9. En el almuerzo pod\u00eda comer tortillas: Eso lo dej\u00e9.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>Ahora almuerzo sin tortilla. Dej\u00e9 el pan, y me evit\u00e9 los dulces, refrescos muy dulces, comenc\u00e9 a hidratarme mejor, a medir cu\u00e1nta agua estaba tomando, y me mov\u00ed m\u00e1s; hice m\u00e1s ejercicio. Incluso, en una tarde llegu\u00e9 a caminar m\u00e1s de 12 kil\u00f3metros. Los cambios tomaron de asalto a mi cuerpo, de sorpresa, mi cuerpo no se lo esperaba. Tom\u00e9 control total de mis decisiones alimenticias.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>No comenc\u00e9 poco a poco. Lo hice de una sola vez. La \u00fanica cervecita que pod\u00eda tomarme un s\u00e1bado fue totalmente suspendida. \u00a1De tajo!<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>Y aunque mi mente quer\u00eda aquello a lo que ven\u00eda adaptada; mi raz\u00f3n me indicaba lo que ten\u00eda que hacer. Mientras la mente pensaba a corto plazo, en el disfrute presente, en el \u201cde algo nos vamos a morir\u201d, mi raz\u00f3n, mi conciencia me permit\u00eda pensar a largo plazo, me indicaba qu\u00e9 era lo correcto.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>Bien dec\u00eda S\u00e9neca:-\u201cNo podemos controlar el mar, pero s\u00ed podemos gobernar nuestro barco\u201d-.
